Planned Rate Changes Beginning in Mid-2023.
We've been on quite a journey together over the past decade, haven't we? Along the way, we've seen the cost of services climb, sometimes even year over year. As a team, we've done our best to shield you from these changes, quietly absorbing them on our end.
But the reality of today's economic landscape and market rates has led us to a crossroads. To keep providing you with the top-notch services you've come to expect from us, we find ourselves needing to tweak our rates a bit. We've tried to keep it as minimal as possible—a modest increase of 15% on some of our services.
Let's take our SSD Hosting 2000 as an example. The current rate of $12.95 would be adjusted to $14.95, reflecting that 15% increase. We wanted to make sure you were in the loop and had time to adjust, which is why we're letting you know now that these changes will start rolling out in mid-2023.
That said, we still have other discount options available. For some services, the yearly prepayment may include one or more months free, while others include free space bonuses for the yearly prepayment. Please see your respective hosting order page for details.
LiteSpeed Licenses. In mid-2023, the commercial license rate for LiteSpeed on both VPS and Dedicated servers increased. As a result, we've had to add $10 more per month to each LiteSpeed license subscription. Reference: https://tvcnet.com/litespeed-http2-hosting.php.
Spam Protect. In late 2023, the rate changed from $4.95 per month for 20 email accounts to $5.95 per month for 20 email accounts.
Refunds.
Prorated refunds may be requested following the cancellation of account.
Terms of service change.
7. Money Back Guarantee. Added paragraph:
"5. In the event a request for a refund is made, it shall only be honored within the first forty-five (45) days of the service period. Should the service period exceed forty-five (45) days, a pro-rated refund shall be provided in the form of a credit to the account of the subscriber. Credits may be applied towards payment for other services offered by TVCNet."
Plans / Rates Changed.
EM100 - plan was discontinued some years back, but not posted.
EM1000 - plan converted to EM2000, doubling space allowance. No change of rate.
